HOW TO REACH US

By Train

  • If you are in Santa Maria Novella train station you can get here in a few minutes walking. Exit the station and cross the avenue in Piazza della Stazione. Go left and up to Piazza Adua (there is a Burger King on the corner of the square), turn right and continue along Via Cennini. At the end of the street turn right in via Faenza and you’ll find the entrance of the hotel on your left.

By Plane

  • You land at Peretola Florence’s airport, take the Shuttle Bus which in approx 20 minutes will take you to the train station.
  • If you land at Pisa airport you can choose between the train and the Terravision bus service which will both take you to the train station in slightly more than 1 hour.

By Car

  • Firenze Sud – A1 highway exit: Follow the directions for Viali Circonvallazione/Centro. Go ahead until you drive over the Arno river and keep on driving along Lungarno del Tempio. Turn right in Viale Amendola and when you reach Piazza della Libertà take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico. Turn left in Via Poliziano and then go ahead till you find Via Nazionale. Once in Largo Alinari, turn right at the traffic lights in Piazza della Stazione. When you arrive to the intersection where th Burger king is situated, turn right again in Piazza Adua then go straight to Via Cennini and down the road, turn right into Via Faenza. The access to the street is allowed for those staying at the hotel. At the end of via Cennini you will find a sign indicating the direction (‘Consentito Hotel’, Hotels’ allowed).

From Firenze
Nord

  • Firenze Nord – A1 highway exit: Follow the directions for Viali Circonvallazione/Centro. Once in Florence, follow the signs to Fortezza da Basso, drive along Viale Spartaco Lavagnini and at the first traffic light, turn right in Via Nazionale.Once in Largo Alinari, turn right at the traffic lights in Piazza della Stazione. When you arrive to the intersection where th Burger king is situated, turn right again in Piazza Adua then go straight to Via Cennini and down the road, turn right into Via Faenza. The access to the street is allowed for those staying at the hotel. At the end of via Cennini you will find a sign indicating the direction (‘Consentito Hotel’, Hotels’ allowed).

Note

  • It’s not allowed to go straight at the traffic lights in Piazza della Stazione (Burger King corner), because it’s where the limited traffic area begins. All cars have to turn right, so we please you to be careful in order to avoid a fine.
  • If you are using a navigation system, set Via Cennini as the destination of your trip, instead of Via Faenza. Due to a ‘double’ numbering in force in Florence (red numbers and black numbers) all satellite maps and the same Google map could provide incorrect directions to our positioning. When you arrive in via Cennini go to the end of the road and you will find a sign that says ‘Consentito Hotel’ (Hotels’ allowed) which indicates to turn right. Follow it and you will find the Hotel Azzi, at number 56 black of via Faenza.
